Excavator Bucket Maintenance &Rebuild

Precision Metal Group sources old units and refurbishes them, which gives the client less down time E.g. buckets are swapped out for maintenance repairs keeping machines running.

Excavator Stick rebuild

This mechanism uses the angled arm that is attached to the excavator itself and the arm is pinned to the boom. The arm is sometimes called the dipper or stick. A knuckle boom can move right or left in line with the machine, unlike standard booms which can only move up or down.

Clam Hinge replacement &repair

We get flatstock aluminum(about 2 inches wide by 12 inches long), bolt it to the inside edge of the alum side of the trailer, drilled a large diameter bolt hole in the end, which extends past the trailer nose about 4-6 inches, and then just putting a bolt thru with a nylock nut and washer on one end and a washer under the bolt head on the other. This ,method is done cheaply and easily in our company.

Excavator Boom bearing replacement

It is done by rotating joint between the upper and lower frame of an excavator. It is an essential part of the machine as it allows 360° rotation of the top structure while the bottom structure remains stationary.

Pipe welding

Pipe welding is performed with either E6010 or E6011 electrodes for the complete weld, or these electrodes are used for the root pass, and E7018 electrodes are used to complete the joint. Pipe welding can also be done using the E7018 electrode for the entire weld.

Truck chassis repair

The chassis frame forms the backbone of a heavy vehicle so the chassis must be able to safely carry the maximum load for which the vehicle is designed. The chassis must also absorb engine and drive-line torque, endure shock loading and accommodate twisting caused by uneven road surfaces. Satisfactory performance of a heavy vehicle chassis is the result of careful design and rigorous testing.
