Procedure qualifications are required when standard welding procedures are not or cannot be used. The purpose of the welding procedure is to guide welders to utilize repeatable and trusted welding techniques.

The procedure will vary depending on the code or specification being employed, and based on the material alloy and for each welding type used.

RES can qualify and document the procedure (PQR) and create a WPS that defines the necessary variables for your process.
